I plan to watch Designated Survivor--love Kiefer Sutherland. I'll continue watching Blue Bloods & Madam Secretary. Probably keep up with Supergirl (maybe) and definitely Supernatural. Elementary and Grimm, too. (Grimm is the only show I watch on NBC. I haven't watched any ABC shows in quite a few years.)
I may (maybe) check out MacGyver, just out of curiosity. I thought the TV adaptation of Rush Hour was a fun, popcorn type of show (heavy on action and snippy dialogue, light on plot; example: Hawaii Five-O). Not sure if MacGyver will have more substance to it, but I bet it will, so it might be worth watching.
I've watched both NCIS and NCIS-LA since their respective beginnings, although the 'mother ship' show has been less and less interesting as the seasons go by. Many times I find the LA version more entertaining, but even that doesn't always catch my attention. These are what I call second-tier shows, which I tune into when I'm home, but if I don't watch them, I don't feel deprived.
I've pretty much given up on sit-coms. Again, if there's nothing else on, I might watch Big Bang or Modern Family, but that's it, and even that is iffy.
