Amy Acker sighting

Saw Amy (Root) as a ballerina in "A Nutcracker Christmas" and watched the whole show waiting for her to kill someone..But NO..She kept her undercover role right to the end..

I know some members here are critical of Root but I thought she added a lot to the show, just as Shaw did.
That character started out as very anti social, almost psychotic. Once 'converted' to helping people with the team she took on a kind of happy nutty personality which combined with her ability to communicate with the machine conversationally made her a great wild card in the stories.
Also her semi romantic attraction to Shaw added another level of strange to her personality. I read somewhere that the writers got feedback from viewers after Root first expressed friendship toward Shaw and decided to make her interest seem more romantic than friendly and that seemed to click with fans.

I have not seen Amy in anything else but I might like to see how she plays other characters.

Haven't you seen 'Angel', 'Dollhouse', or 'Alias'?

Maybe life is a dream and we wake up when we die?

reply

I think I may have seen an episode of "Angel", but not the others.

reply

I think the only thing I had seen her in besides POI was The Cabin in the Woods. I saw a bit of Alias, but don't remember her. Angel and Dollhouse were not my cup of tea, so I missed those too.

Who is critical of Root? She's the heart of the whole show. And as for the romance Nolan himself said that he alway intended for Root and Shaw to have a sexual attraction
