Almost done watching all 5 seasons
Thanks to Netflix, I have been able to watch this show this year because I passed it by when it came on the scene in 2011.
My quick thoughts:
1. Absolutely Loved seasons 1-3
2. Somewhat of a letdown in seasons 4-5.
3. Root plus Shaw was not better than Carter
4. Samaritan vs. The Machine got bogged down and all those gun battles were over the top and not realistic. How many times can a few people beat up on dozens of trained agents who apparently did not graduate from the shooting academy.
5. Loved Fusco, Carter, and Elias a lot. (Of course Harold and John are a given)
6. Reese was great until Shaw and Root entered the scene, and then he became somewhat redundant by being mostly a muscle man.
7. Every love interest with Reese seemed stiff and awkward.
8. Harold's righteousness got to be to much. He needs to watch Dexter to appreciate how the world is much better off without very bad people.
9. The final two episodes though were simply AMAZING and BREATHTAKING
10. Knowing the Machine LIVED made me very happy. (Weird, I know)
