Why such severe hostility towards Tyler

Were the others always hostile towards Tyler before the peeping Tom incident? Also, some of them had crimes that were worse, yet treated Tyler like crap and reacting towards him by throwing rocks at his window and violence and threats of violence. Also, why not at least include him in the predicament as there was a lot to lose if there actions are found out. Alienating someone who had information on all of them is not a good idea. Technically with the way they treated him, he had nothing to lose and out of revenge turned the tapes over. He may have been punished, but so would many of the others. We know that does not happen and that he has a bit more......hostile plan for all of them, but someone should have thought of that possibility. Hell, he even suggested making someone a scapegoat yet they still acted like he didn't matter. They didn't have to be nice, but at least try to not rattle him to the point they did.

They were idiots and clearly learned nothing from the Hannah situation. Them treating her like shit got them in this position in the first place. Tyler was a creep, but the rest of them weren't saints either. I think because Tyler was already a sketchy loner before the story took place, it was easier for them to just gang up on him.

Tyler was a loner and an awkward kid..The perfect target for bullying. In the end they showed him having an arsenal of guns. I believe they were hinting that he might do a school shooting..He took down Alex's picture from the darkroom. Maybe because he knew Alex shot himself? Or maybe he thought Alex was out of the group of people he wanted to have revenge on..Not sure,,any opinions?

Clay seemed like a loner and was not treated so harshly. I think he was more weird than Tyler....well without the stalking incident at least. They seemed to not mind rubbing shoulders with a rapist, a person they all regarded as a pig before the rape revelation.
