Thelma Madine of Nico's Dress Design Getting Own Show?

This woman is so interesting. She has had a long career, even a run in with the law that keeps up some controversy, but her passion for making these dresses is amazing.

I can't believe the amount of articles I found about her. Her dresses really do grab the media's attention.

I just ran into an article that said Thelma will have girls work as her apprentice to make wedding dresses , perhaps a competition that would leave one girl a job in her shop. There is potential for it to be a running series in the UK. I wonder if it went through and if we will ever see it in the US?

Lord, I hope not. Her dresses are trashy and cater to the lowest forms of design. It's like trailer-trash Pnina Tornai.

I think is great if she is willing to teach these girls skills and skills that are compatible with their culture.

Oh, I definitely would watch it if they ever do the show and air it here in America. I admit I love the dresses she has made (well, except the one with the Christmas lights ... that was a bit over the top lol).

at least those wedding dresses cover their *beep* up. If my ten or 12 year old daughter tried to walk the streets in vegas hooker wear I would have to beat the crap out of her. I cant believe the parents of those kids condone them wearing such provocative wear, i guess its easier to rip people off if your half naked. at least if your ripping off old men anyways.

OMG I was shocked seeing those little girls wearing such provocative clothing and dancing the way they were. Aboslutely disgusting!

It could really be an interesting show. I saw an episode where they showed the sketches a bride-to-be had brought her, and then the final dress. The dresses aren't my style, but, so what, it is still interesting to see such elaborate custom designs.
