I'M CONFUSED!

Do Americans watch this show with closed captions or subtitles? I am British, though I have lived in America for a long time. I am streaming the show from Amazon.com and can just about follow what they are saying. There are no captions with the streaming edition.

Does nobody else have a problem understanding what everyone is saying?

TLC includes subtitles in theirs, for a lot of the speaking.

There's just a possibility that I will kiss a doorknob.

Yeah you have to have captioning to get what is said.
