Who do you think sent the toy figures and what does "always remember the asymptote" mean?

Thank you for that great explanation. I was confused about the toys. And I had to google the definition of "asymptote".

So what does the note mean?!

There was pretty much the most astutely written explanation by a clearly brilliant person but it was deleted. :-(

I couldn't begin to explain. Sorry.

Of course, nothing to do with math! An excellent phrase the writers used in order to keep us hanging.... Since it means 'not falling (coming) together' it could mean two characters on the show will forever be separated.

But who will that be?
Walt and Henry?
Walt and Vic?

Your guess is as good as anyone's.

My impression is that the figures represent Walt and Henry and their special bond. I took the provision of them with the note to Walt as a statement of the rendering of that relationship (given the timing of it shortly after the brawl).
