The town of Durant in Longmire is modeled after Buffalo, Wyoming, although there are some differences.

Of Kaytee, she is driving me crazy. She seems forced on any dialog she has. Had to laugh in one episode they had a fake ponytail on her. Also even Longmire quite burn is getting old. shareLook closely at the map on the Sheriff Office wall and you will see they have moved Sheridan County south and have put Absaroka County essentially in its place along the Montana border.
