Cowboy Bill...seems obvious to me

Just my opinion, but it seems a bit obvious that the mysterious bank robber "Cowboy Bill" is probably fired deputy, Zach. I suspect this due to the fact that the last we saw Zach he was in a bad way, drunk and jobless, and because once he was fired the show never made mention of him again.

I would not be surprised at all in Season 6 for there to be a shoot out between Walt and "Cowboy Bill" with "Cowboy Bill" (aka Zach) getting killed and adding yet another bit of misfortune to the slings and arrows that Walt is burdened with.

And speaking of Walt...wow, season 5 made him unlikable, a bit of a dick to everyone almost all the time. What the heck??

Season 5 MVA...or Most Valuable ACTOR...hands down, A. Martinez. Exceptional performances in every episode!

Season 6 - maybe Cady and Nighthorse become a couple.

Season 6 - PLEASE Bring back Sam Poteet to the show!!!!!!!!!

Zach being Cowboy Bill might be obvious to you but I don't see it.

They actually mentioned Zach a lot in S5 for a character that never makes an appearance perhaps you need to watch the season again. I was more concerned that there was no Lucien in S5 and no mention of him at all.

Many people object to a Walt/Vic relationship because of the age difference. The age difference between Jacob and Cady is even greater than Walt/Vic so those same people I assume would not be happy with a Jacob/Cady relationship. Even though the writers went off the rails big time with the characterization of Walt in S5 I would hope they would not be clueless enough to make Jacob and Cady a couple. Walt felt betrayed by Cady dating Branch it would be an even worse betrayal if Cady were to date Jacob and remember Jacob was involved although it may not have been directly in Martha's death. Any romantic relationship between Jacob and Cady would a terrible way to end Longmire. I would prefer to see a Cady/Mathias relationship there have been hints of sparks there but I see no romantic sparks between Jacob and Cady. Jacob seems too focused on his mission/ambitions to have time for a romantic relationship of any kind.

Maybe I'm way off base but I thought Nighthorse was gay? Not sure why, I just get that vibe from the character.
