binge worthy or not
I haven't read the books and I know nothing about this series. Should I watch this series.

sharePersonally, I love the show and am sad that the next season will be the last. It's going to be hard to let go of these characters.
The show is a detective procedural in a Western setting. If you like Westerns and/or cop shows then I think you should at least give it a look. If it doesn't immediately click with you, then give it another episode or two. Give the characters time to grow on you and I'm confident that they will.
It's also the only show I know of that spends a fair amount of its time exploring Native American culture and that gives some of our excellent Native performers some great roles to sink their teeth into.
