The makeup this season...

What the H-E-double-hockeysticks happened to the makeup this season???!? Everybody looks like they got spray painted with pumpkin orange!!! And their lips all look blue like they're having heart problems or are suffering from a lack of oxygen, or something. Except for the ones who are smeared up with harsh, clashing, totally unbecoming shades of lipstick. And everything makeup related pretty much looks just plain horrible to the point of totally distracting the viewer from the plot. And the hair, particularly on Zoe and Lemon...! Shapeless, whispy, dry, occasionally almost greasy looking at the base... OY!

Fortunately, the wardrobes are in direct contrast to the dire and depressing makeup situation. The costumes are mostly super cute and yummy this season. Except for Zoe's pregnancy muumuus (sp?), which were meant to hide her girth, but only ended up emphasizing it.

I think the makeup "artist" for this season needs to either go back to makeup school, or find another career altogether.
