I hate Zoe and Wade

Zoe is a complete narcissistic who only cares about herself, almost like a sociopath; she only cares about her own needs e doesn't care about the people she's constantly hurting to achieve her shallow and selfish things.

And Wade... oh, boy... every single time we see him, we see hair. BODY hair. Facial hair, chest hair, armpit hair, even a little of his pubes. GROSS. I'd never, EVER, let him take a shower at my house, the drain would get blocked.

These two deserve each other, screw them and their hillbilly baby.

reply

so your issue with his character is that he has hair? alrighty then, good thing we aren't all that shallow. it's called being a man!

No, actually it's called "I can smell the BO from here!".

Trim a little bit.

reply

I don't know what kind of people you've met, but I never knew that having body hair prevents you from showering and using deodorant.
Also, I'd rather let someone WITH body hair use my shower, those without are usually the ones that shave there and risk clogging the drain. BOOM, logic.

reply

Um... what hair?

Not that he's completely bare, but definitely doesn't have that much hair. Anywhere.

Folks, stop feeding the troll.

reply

I'm guessing you're either a female or a homosexual male?

To freak out about a man with hair is..well, silly. But hey, to each their own, I guess.

reply

Wade is a good-looking guy, but his personality is repulsive.

reply

What's so repulsive about his personality? I get why people wouldn't like Zoe, and Wade has done some bad things every once in a while, but by the end of the series at least he seems like a pretty genuine, sweet guy. I'm not saying he doesn't have his faults, but he actually seems like a significantly more reasonable person than Zoe ever did.

reply

I guess he did turn around at the end of the series, but I could never understand why Zoey would be interested in him. They had nothing in common. I never cared for his personality. And I always got a kick out of Zoey.

reply

Wade's personality in the beginning of the show was a facade he had build up since his mother died and he was left to fend for himself. Underneath the sexual innuendos and carefree attitude was a caring, loyal guy with a big heart. He wasn't intelligent in the traditional way but certainly in other ways. He was perceptive and could read people. Did he make mistakes? Yes. Rome wasn't build in a day. He was a complex character which is why so many people liked his character.

Once Zoe saw past the exterior and saw him for who he really was, she fell for him. They were opposite in many ways but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. She made him grow up and want more in life. He made her more grounded, made her care about other people and pushed her realize what she wanted in life. Two flawed people making each other change for the better. That is what they had in common. That is a smidgen more important than NY and Woody Allen.

Zoe was at her absolute worst when she was pursuing George, only thinking about herself. All those two did together was hurt people.
