i hate lavon
(prob spelt wrong) hes such a child
shareAww I think he's adorable.
shareWow, you hate Lavon? That's a pretty strong opinion. I'll admit I probably did prefer the Lavon of the first season and I guess parts of second season, he was more fun back then. I was never a fan of him and Lemon together but that has at least as much if not more to do with how I feel about Lemon. I know there are some other people out there that have made similar comments about Lavon being immature but for the most part I liked Lavon. He was a really good friend to both Zoe and Wade, he cared about Bluebell and the people, he tried to let Lemon go and move on from her even though she treated him pretty unfairly throughout all of season 1, he was one of the few people to not hold a grudge against Zoe when she came back from NY even though she was his best friend and she had run out on him too. He was portrayed as kind of immature at times during seasons 3 and 4 but for the most part I liked Lavon, I just wish he had been in love with AB instead of Lemon :)
shareHe's one of the only characters that make it bearable to watch when my wife insists on watching. He's an awesome character
shareI liked him. Most of the characters were a bit on the childish side. Brick and George were the most mature out of the main cast. I thought Lemon and Zoe had too much of a 13 year old girl mentality during the first couple of seasons.

Did he break your heart? Lavon is one of the characters I really like in this show.
shareHave you finished the series or are you still in the middle of it? I think most of the ire directed at Lavon is based on seasons 3 and 4. The things people point out for what they don't like about Lavon have to do with stuff he did and the way he acted in the last 2 seasons. While Zoe, Wade, and Lemon all seemed to mature as the series went on, in a lot of ways Lavon seemed to become less mature.
I never hated Lavon, but as I said earlier, I did like him better the first couple seasons then the last couple.
I love this character, he's so much fun!

I love Lavon, he's so loveable and I realized this either in the middle of the first or second season. Wade is such a sleazy person and isn't good to Zoe a lot of the time, even in the beginning when he wanted to be with her he was such an ass to her so I find that he doesn't deserve her.
Then George Tucker was presented as this Ken Doll stud or dream-boat to Lemon's Barbie and even though he started out as someone who treated women right and definitely way better than Wade did he was unfair to Zoe by blaming her for everything and turning on her which wasn't right
Lavon is the one moral, genuine guy who hasn't done a single thing that would label him a creep.
