An incredibly awesome show

I just finished the show and took me a couple of weeks, however I just absolutely love this show. It is extremely well planned out and really well written.

It's not as dark or intense as Supernatural, but there are similiar themes. And it always keeps you interested. I could not wait to watch the next episode.

The characters were all great. I thought Bud was hilarious. A very funny character. Everyone did really well. The formulaic (police cop) part of the show got old, however the mythology is very interesting and that's what kept the show going, obviously.

This show is really funny in places. The humour for the most part landed.

The cgi for most of the wessen looks absolutely terrible, however it got slightly better as the series went on. The Krampus episode showed how practical effects still are the best, when used well and sparingly for characters.

I'm definitely considering buying this show on blu-ray in future. One of my favourite shows of all time now. I would definitely also consider buying the Grimm brother's book.

Highly recommend this show, who love the supernatural/fantasy genre.

SPOILERS

I liked it when Kelly (mom) said to Nick: "You want to destroy everything for a bit of happiness?" Very profound.

The ending was a slight letdown, but I'm happy Nick and Adalin would have their happy ending. Really nice that he was her first Grimm sighting and she was his first Hexenbeast and Wessen sighting. Very nice to see the kids grown up.

For anyone who likes Grimm, it just began showing on Comet TV at 3 pm weekdays and at midnight. As popular as this show was when it was on, I'm surprised to hear little or nothing about since it went off the air some years ago. I liked it enough to watch it from the beginning, and liked how the last episode ended the series---pretty satisfying.
