I wasn't crazy about it either so you are not alone, but I get it- they wanted to have a Disney ending in which everyone lives happily ever after. It seems like they made up their own science to make that happy ending happen.

I just finished it, and given the ultimate scope of the show I expected it to have a "Happily Ever After" ending. I think they kind of went too far to give away that the show was going to have a happy ending. The way they resolved the ultimate bad guy kind of felt muddled and just toss stuff up into a mixture LOL. The final scene left me wanting a tad bit more, just because of what it alluded to. I don't really think the show should be picked up by another network, but I think there is at least from the ending a possible NBC TV Movie or Special Mini Series that they can do later on.

shareThat came out of nowhere. Everything about the keys, the Crusader treasure, the stick had been poorly developed from the start. The inconsistencies are the reason I'm glad the show ended. I liked it, but, had it continued, it could have been a train wreck.
shareI just finished the series and it did seem rushed. First they introduced the idea of a stick being able to carry a person through any mirror anywhere in the world, then we get a Hollywood ending and in the next scene, it's 20 years later and it's all over.
It's like they wanted to finish the whole season (instead of just 13 episodes), but then someone pulled the plug on the series and decided to insert the happy ending, hoping the audience will be okay with it. The last scene, 20 years later, was an obvious improvisation with none of the main characters in the scene.
I'm just sorry that this series had such potential and such great ideas and story lines that were just started, but never fully realized and finished. The story behind the keys and the coins, zombie Nick, poorly developed romance with Adalind...
shareNot to mention they totally botched Black Claw story. We were told that it's destroyed in Portland only, but in the next scene Trubel casually drops by (with a much longer hair than couple of days ago) and tells them that it's been destroyed everywhere... that was laughable.
We never got to see Monroe and Rosalee's babies, but at least we found out that Kelly turned out to be a Grimm and not a Hexenbiest.
