season 4 "finishing what we started" Juliette and Renard - spoiler

Hello guys,

Season 4 is my favourite season so far but something is bothering me. I didn't find the subject and if it has already been a discussed here I apologize
When Juliette goes to take sanctuary at Renard's home she opens the book for him, right. Then the next episode she undresses and says "I'm finishing what we started" and kisses him and they supposedly sleep together but.... did I miss an episode? They didn't start anything. This scene is so weird and doesn't make any sense....

Maybe you can give me your point of view...

I'm maybe not the best person to answer since it's been a long time since I watched it but I'm gonna give it a go since no one else has responded...

In season 2 (I'm pretty sure), Reynard and Juliette start acing fantasies about each other as a repercussion of some witchy woo spell. They sort of start to act on their impulses, but eventually realize their feelings are because of the spell and stop. It's after Juliette is in the coma Adeline cursed her with if that gives you a better idea regarding the time frame.

Hope that helps, I'm sure someone can explain it better but that's the bare bones as far as I remember!

^ This is correct.

It harkens back to season two, when both were under a spell and got the hots for one another, but never got beyond kissing / groping / breaking furniture.

First Juliette goes to Sean for help. After the Biest fight an breaking up with Nick. Juliette ask Sean for a place to stay. At that time she open the book. The next morning she throws the back at Sean and threatens him. The next episode she comes back. Sean had assumed Juliette was mad at him and left for good. When she did return she had changed her mind and was starting to accept being a hexenbiest. That is why she was ready to kill Adalind. Sean had just got beaten up by kenneth ready to take it out on Adalind. Sean was glad to seen Juliette to take care of Adalind and Kenneth. The finish what we started was a reference to season 2 and the compulsion spell. Not sure if her sleeping with was because of season two. OR the result of being a hexenbiest. Or just her way of getting over Nick. Signifying that it was really over with Nick. Juliette sleeping with Kenneth was to get over the fact that Nick and Adalind had sleep in the same bed. That could also be why she sleep with Sean as a way to get back at Adalind.
