Twin Sister........

Soooooo did she have a twin sister or not? And if so, in the end dream, was that supposed to be the twin or the actual chick?

Not sure how I feel about this one.

I wrote this in another thread...

The twin sister is part of a dream sequence that begins after the kiss between Dani and Noomi in the kitchen and ends when Noomi awakes to find Dani's strangled body on her bedroom floor.

There are several other dream sequences scattered throughout the movie and each one is intended as a premonition (it communicates the subtext of the film, but in a symbolic way).

The twin, in this instance, is a representation of Noomi's fear of death (she's dressed in black, the colour of mourning, like the black cloak of death, but wears green shoes, which is the colour associated with jealousy and mental illness), while the inspector with the wreath represents her fear of being found out.

If that clears it up a bit.

Yes it does. I appreciate it!

Unless she created them.

Hard to do where you're dead. The twin was supposed to have died in her childhood, remember?

The fact that she shows back up with the bloody scarf, which the cops would've had, is another clue that the whole thing is a dream. Though not quite as big of a clue as Isabelle waking up in the middle of it. That's a bit of a giveaway.

-There is no such word as "alot."

They were not available yet in stores

That's been said a lot, but it's false: in a previous scene, we saw Christine buy the red shoes for Isabelle. That wasn't a fashion show, it was an atelier showing their merchandise to rich clients using their in-house models.

Her twin sister died when they were kids. I felt the story was made up though. Either way, there was no twin.
