Expensive dumps
Canada must have deflected the housing bust like what happened in the states, since prices for fixers seem to be at full retail. Why do I get the sense that every time they go into a house, it seems to be up for sale because grandma passed away or mom & dad went to a nursing home? The interiors look like the last remodel was 40 years ago and problems were fixed on the cheap by the homeowner without consideration to how it would fit in with the overall design. It's like the last owner gave up taking care of the place 20 years ago and they want huge $$$ for it? Zero pride in ownership.
