It is starting to drive me a little nuts that they very carefully never ever mention what city they are in. They always say "the city" or "the suburbs". They even seem to take some care to make sure that you can't actually glimpse a license plate and get an approximation on the location.
I managed to answer my own question. In "Lise & Andrew", I caught them entering a store with it's URL painted on the front window. www.audio-one.ca resolves to a stereo store at the north end of Toronto around Steels.
Season 1 and part of Season 2 filmed in Toronto. Currently, Property Brothers is filming in Austin, Texas. The property from the episode with Raun and Jasprit (with the meditation room) was close to Yorkville. Because this is an international show (airing in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Australia, Spain, Israel, and more), they don't get specific as to which cities they're filming in. If you follow Jonathan and Drew on Twitter, they'll be able to answer all of your questions. @MrSilverScott and @_DrewScott
Because this is an international show ... they don't get specific as to which cities they're filming in.
I don't know why that would make a difference. House Hunters International does houses all over the world and they show maps of where the houses are in the cities. If that doesn't invade the people's privacy, saying what city it is certainly wouldn't.

love to watch the show, but where they are matters; because more often than not, the reno budgets seem very low. where i live those reno budgets would never ever get what the show delivers. so i gather moving around would shake the budgets and the connections that allow some of those amazing timelines. living in an 1920's reno needy seashore home, they have my undivided attention and envy!!
They're filming already. Very cool, the properties in Atlanta and surrounding areas are larger than what they've shown in the show thus far, plus, the lot sizes are larger, too. The area is sub-tropic in the Spring-Autumn and rarely snows in winter, it does freeze in winter. I'm southern and am in Atlanta often, I'm interested to see which areas they leave their marks. The down/mid-town homes need Renos but the hotspots are not in that area, at least not in my opinion. For tv, they most likely will do the traditional-modern hybrid in the down/mid-town area(s).
In the most recent epsiode about the couple that owns the FRO YO place, that was filmed in Vancouver. I looked up the FRO YO place and there is only one.
A lot of HGTV shows do that. I think when they don't mention where they are it's almost always Toronto. That one about renters (can't think of the name) never says where they are. It does start to drive me crazy when I start listening for it.
