I wondered who pays for the re-models and all that goes into the finished product. Does the production company pay for most or all of the work and sponsors for the interior features?

shareI think that I heard once that the home owners pay for the actual remodel, however the show gives them like $20,000 in furnishings as their compensation for being on the show. Not sure if it was Property Brothers or a similar show that does that, but they all probably do something similar.
shareI assume they do. All these type of shows compensate the buyers somehow. No one puts brand new furniture and accessories into their remodel budget. That stuff does give off the wow factor that the producers want though.
