Another FAKE show...
Another FAKE show that is on HGTV..
shareI don't know it seems like its more realistic than others. Is it scripted, of course, sometimes the acting is horrible, but I don't think they are trying to hide that. They show what its like to try and bid on a house and all the issues that go into renovations.
shareI'm curious too but only because I'm a new fan of the show. Some parts do seem scripted like one of the twins babysitting during renovations. That's crazy and not safe.
shareWhy is one of the brothers babysitting "crazy and not safe"? He seems to be a responsible adult who gets along well with children. There were other adults present who were operating the camera and lights. Even if it was real, it was perfectly sane and safe. However, I'm pretty sure it was fake.
shareI'm so sick of these two taking over the channel. Actually, a LOT of the shows are the same way now: grays and extreme neutrals with white painted bricks. Oh, and those stupid tiny houses. It's getting extremely old. Bring back the variety and get rid of these two. Too much twincest.

You make some great points, RipperRoo, but your post really doesn't address the "fake" aspect of the show.
shareI feel the same way about the greys. It's reached such ridiculous proportions that even the 'Vintage flip' couple used predominantly grey wall colors in the only 2 eps I've seen. Joanna Gaines on Fixer Upper must have an entire warehouse of the stuff to get rid of because she hardly uses any other color lately.
shareTell that to Kanjiklub...
shareFromm what I heard the couple don't really know the Property Brothers. They are not much of a HGTV watcher. Their real estate agents send them to the brothers. That is why they are always surprised at the beginning of the show when they brothers take them to a house way over their budget,
