I'm glad I never went vegan. No ice cream, cheese, eggs, milk, yogurt? No thanks! (spoilers)

This was a weird tale. This is probably mandatory viewing for anybody who has ever dated online or went into business with somebody. There are some warning signs that one should be aware of.

The first red flag was the $15M condo that fell through when Anthony didn't come through with the millions. It was also odd that she thought Anthony was a big deal because he was exchanging tweets with Alec Baldwin. Anthony's social media profile elevated him before Sarma had even met him.

It also obvious that something was wrong when Anthony kept asking Sarma to wire him money. Sarma sent Anthony $1.7M between 2012 and 2014. Ouch! She started to think he was full of BS after a while BUT she claims to have already committed to the utopia that Anthony would deliver. Anthony was going to make her his queen and she would get a monthly $100k allowance.

Anthony would spend all the money at the casino and bring Naz with him. Naz invested $100K with Anthony. Anthony even managed to get $400K from Sarma's mother.

The interesting part of this con is that Anthony convinced Sarma that only he could deliver utopia and that she had to follow all of his commands in order to reach utopia. I was curious to know if there was some sort of a dominant/submissive relationship between them that was not covered in the show. Anthony commanded Sarma to go to Rome and then he held a meeting
at the restaurant telling the staff that he was the guy who had the vision and was the savior.

I also wonder if she was having a mid-life crisis. In order to take over the business from
her partner, her business loan to Jefferey Chodorow increased to a $2M loan. The interest rates
on these loans are not always favorable so she might have been desperate to refinance the terms of the loan. Anthony claimed to be a wealthy man who could solve all her financial problems but he turned out to want her money for his gambling addiction and lavish lifestyle.
