Given the movie even more depth imo

watching this scene feels totally different after having watched a few eps of the show, and I mean that in a good way. it's because imo the backstories while being different than I always expected, are totally believable/credible.

so it's really easy for me to see the film through this new lens without feeling that it's forever altered my perception of the film in a bad way. which to me, was always the big risk of watching the show in the first place.

I feel it actually adds a lot of depth to the film, which I'll be rewatching in full after I finish the show

Have you finished it yet? I have greatly enjoyed this series and am hoping it gets renewed for a second. I love how they really captured the essence of the movie characters and showed their development.

And as I keep pointing out, Stephen Moyer is absolutely terrifying as Teddy Bass (and how rich it was to learn how Bass ended up in the movie as the person he is).
