Stephen Moyer.....wow....glares that melt steel....and freeze boiling water...

After four episodes, Moyer's portrayal of the violence needs no comment, but his stares and glares - I have not seen someone throw so many bone-chilling glares in some time. I predict as time goes on we will be hearing quite about about his portrayal of Teddy Bass. Also, this series is going to be later called one of those types of series that are among "the best series that nobody is watching."

Lastly, just think how much enjoyment those who have never seen the movie Sexy Beast are going to have when they get to see it and see just how well these actors in the prequel are portraying them.

I agree with your assessment of Steve's performance. He has the appearance of potential evil down perfectly. I think it is the best part of this show so far, to see how seriously he takes his character. Congratulations to you Mr. Moyer. A baddass that you do not betray without death as a consequence.

PS: the support is great, but make it less wordy to not appear simulated.

the original cast was so good and so unique that this new cast had huge shoes to fill but they've done an impressive job all of them, including Teddy Bass.

The newly added characters are excellent too, especially Tamsin Greig.

P.S. I just saw the scene in ep 2 with Teddy staring at Freddie in the club and this thread title is spot on
