It looked like she brought her own coffee and it seemed weird she was drinking coffee while doing her job.

We briefly see his girlfriend working as a barista in the museum. She poisoned the coffee. As for drinking coffee on the job, that's not frowned upon in most workplaces.

You meant instead N'Jadaka (Erik Stevens as Killmonger) as his dad was Prince N'Jobu.
