Black Panther's 2ND weekend DESTROYED Justice League's opening weekend. Crosses $300M Domestic/$500M Worldwide. HOT!!!
Not to beat a dead horse but can we just appreciate how absurd that is. The trinity opening weekend wasn't even higher than Black Panthers 2ND weekend. The amount of potential box office dollars that Warner Bros lost is staggering. Unfortunate but it really should have been an event.
Domestic: $320,812,422 58.4%
+ Foreign: $228,100,000 41.6%
= Worldwide: $548,912,422
It is currently the 3rd highest 2nd weekend according to estimates(could rise to 2nd) and is still leading The Avengers 1 by $20M as of Friday. By the end of the week it should be over $700M! It's making a billion even without China which is absolutely bonkers. Disney's rule as the most profitable studio is definitely heading for a 5th straight year!

The new movies from Warner Bros and Paramount continue their disappointing box office streak but Sony is starting the year strongly. share
