If for example BP came in around 130 or 140 Million....a good result but not record breaking...you could at least have something to try and troll about...
but dear god, the film came in beyond all expectations....it got An A+ cinemascore, in every way possible its breaking records....

yes we do....box office has been done this way for Decades and has been 100% accurate....
you can absolutely predict what a film is going to make based on its first Fridays results....Black Panther Made 75 Million....Box office Analysts can accurately predict what the drop will be for Saturday and Sunday....
right now is it 100% certain Black Panther is going to make between 180 Million + for a 3 day weekend and over 200 Million + over 4 days....
the ONLY question now is....Will the numbers come in EVEN higher....Black Panther so far is coming in HIGHER than projected.
Thurday early numbers had Black Panther at 22 Million.....when The final numbers came in Black Panther came in at 25.2 Million for Thurdays screenings
Early Friday They had Black Panther coming in at 68 to 73 Million...when the numbers came in today, Black Panther made 75 Million On Friday....
right now Box office analysts are projecting Black Panthers Opening weekend based on NORMAL/AVERAGE declines...
they know right now, Black Panther Made 75 Million On Friday....based on that 75 Million dollar friday, they project what the saturday and sunday will be....
that projection is Black Panther is going to make at least 180 Million for 3 days and over 200 Million for 4 days...but again Black Panther so far is coming in ABOVE PROJECTIONS....

If you go back and look at the history of the last 15 years.....Deadline, variety, box office mojo dont miss after the Friday numbers come in....
Once you know what a film made on Friday you can 100% accurately predict what the full weekend is going to be...
it may come in 5 or 10% less or more.....but when deadline,variety or box office gets the friday numbers....whatever they project the weekend numbers to be.....the actual results will be with 5 to 10% of that...

just think back to recent history, we had the same argument when JL came out, when JL came out you were expecting a 150 M + Opening, I was expecting a 115 M +, But when Fridays numbers came in, Projections for the weekend came in at 100 Million or lower

but you spent all weekend saying wait for the final numbers and claiming JL was still going to make 133 M, then 115 M , then 100 M +.

Source tells me #BlackPanther is tracking towards possible low to mid 60s for today. Drop from full opening day would be about 17%, a little better than #CaptainAmericaCivilWar. Still early in the run, but that may lead to around $190M+ over 3days & near $220M over 4day holiday.
Black Panther is having an Above average Satuday drop....and is now predicted to make 190 to 220....Instead of 180 to 210 Million....

^^^^^good news queen we officially know how Black Panther is Holding....Saturday and Sunday holds were excellent, resulting in BPs OW going up...
BP is now going to make 194 M for 3 days and 223 M for 4 days instead of the previous 185 to 213 M reported....
Its clear at this point Black Panther isnt "Losing steam" as you tried to claim....in fact the opposite is happening...every point during the weekend BP came in over the projections and had way above average holds...
I know this hurts, I know these results make all your predictions wrong, you remember your predictions right?

shareIt's opening day is the 8th best opening day which is outrageously good for an origin Comic book movie. In fact Marvel itself has 4 of the top 10 opening days which is incredible. Disney and Marvel cannot be stopped!

SAT finished with roughly $65M in sales for #BlackPanther slipping 14% from full opening day of $75.8M. SUN drop shd not be too big thx to MON holiday. 3day debut may reach $195M+, 4day launch could hit $225M+. Unstoppable!
