What were they all thinking?

I saw this on Friday and I honestly think it's one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Everything about it was just horrendous: what were they thinking sticking two people from an obscure band in and having them play themself? When they buried Yolandi at the end it even had her full real life name and band name on the t-shirt. What the hell? She couldn't act and their music sounded ridiculous whenever they played it throughout the movie. In a big budget movie, why would the director get to give this pair so much exposure?

The stupid robot was annoying as all hell as well, I just wanted to see it get crushed like they promised at the start. The annoying use of slow motion every couple of minutes, it was just ridiculous.

They didn't even seem to establish a story properly. I'm guessing that we were supposed to see our robot stealing gang as a bunch of Robin Hood types or something but they didn't bother to mention anything about the society they were in and so they just came across as a bunch of murders.

District 9 was alright, Elysium was pretty bad but this movie was awful. Someone needs to ask Blonkamp what the hell he's thinking and stop him making movies altogether.
