Vincent rampaging alone

I’m sure that other people will find all kinds of reasons to complain about the movie (there is no movie where someone doesn’t complain about something or other), but there was one thing that really frustrated me most about this movie.

(Actually, there were two; the first was Bradley’s complete blindness to the big coincidence that the police captain told Vincent that things would have to be much worse to justify using Moose, and then suddenly it was, yet she authorized its activation without so much as a second thought.)

What annoyed me was that the city was falling apart, and Bradley had authorized Vincent to use Moose for the first time, all of which is a huge deal, yet not one person was in the bay watching Vincent piloting this massive killing machine; Vincent was all alone in the bay while he wreaked havoc. That made no sense. If this were to be realistic, there should have been a lot of staff standing around watching in fascination and probably even cheering for a bit.

We did see some techs backing away from Moose when it was turning on, and Vincent shouting “everyone out”, but that seems odd that he could actually end completely alone during that momentous event. At the very least, the staff and Bradley should have been watching him and/or his actions through the monitors or something.

Of course, then Vincent would not have been able to continue on his murderous rampage, so he had to be alone. Still, it felt unrealistic.

I agree, but so did much of the whole Tetravaal set-up. You have Deon, the program director and Vincent, the chief weapons engineer, sitting at desks in a large office as if they were working in a call centre. These guys would be earning millions IRL.

Security is spoken about once or twice, but never really seen. Vincent can terrorize Deon by holding a gun to his head in the office in front of other staff and it's just apparently laughed off? Yeah, right!🐭
