Worst End Credit Music of All Time?

At least a contender for it. What was that? Movie certainly wasn't great either.

I don't think that Hans Zimmer's collaboration in this was all that bad, and in terms of Die Antwoord, I presume it's a matter of taste if rap isn't one's thing. In terms of it being "great," or not is a matter of opinion as well. Yet the scientific/technological premise, or conceptualization of the plot may be plausible, if not a bit thought provoking IMO. Yet, I did like District 9 (2009) more.

Yes, I was talking about the rap music. Not a fan of rap music but I've never heard anything that bad. Not going to argue that it's a matter opinion. Even though I phrased it in a way that may be interpreted as a stating of a fact, it is only my opinion.

I hear ya' ...I watched it in theatre and we really didn't stick around to read credits, but now I vaguely remember hearing rap (causing the theatre to empty fast?) - however if the music is appealing I'll take note ... Like say, Pulp Fiction (1994), Surf Riders by the Lively Ones; or Napoleon Dynamite (2004), The Promise by When In Rome, Full Metal Jacket (1987), Paint In Black by the Rolling Stones, and many more. Thanks for the reply.

It was Die Antwoord, Ninja and Yo-Landi Visser's band. Their music was in the background during a lot of the movie.

Die Antwoord is kinda a weird art project, or at least it started like that, and the music was so weird and fun, that a lot of people really liked it, and they became a hit.

reply

No, die antwoord are amazing.
I loved the end credit music, as well as the rest of the soundtrack

It was different ... definitely not your typical end credits song/music. But then the movie itself is pretty out there too.🐭

It was awesome... It's actually the guy who plays Ninja/Danny and Mommy in the movie https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vcMHkvEVgVo&list=PLu-r3IVKTGZizq9ELoSG8AX63zQ8WMMva

I'm definitly gonna check out more of their music cause it was killah IMO, just as the movie was

Absolutely awful. But it wouldn't have bothered much if it were only end credits music. The problem was to hear that kind of crap several times during the movie. It ruined a nice score from Hans Zimmer.

reply

I dunno American Ultra's credits are pretty bad.

More like a contender for illest end credit music of all time. Movie certainly was great as well.

reply

I remember the end credit music to V for Vendetta being ill fitting too, didn't suit the film itself whatsoever.
