i liked it. was it great all the way. perhaps not but the hated this movie got was just not right

AGREED!! I could watch this every day. It's not supposed to be taken seriously or factual. It's a nod to the underground of South Africa and it's culture. I think Chappie is hysterical and the characters lovable. I also love all the references to District 9..

Agreed. I also felt Elysium was underrated.

This was a fabulous movie.

The people that don't like it are likely the same ones who thought that Battleship and the recent Godzilla flick were "awesome dood".
