Did a robot write this?

The script (like most of the songs) hits every generic plot point/note out there. Even Disney Channel shows aren't this generically written. It's the most robotic script I've seen in an Oscar nominated movie in a long time. It's as if the script was created by some weird computer program that generates scripts.

It was most definitely NOT Oscar nominated for anything and is sitting at 27% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The script was robotic just like the auto-tuned voices.

My bad. It was nominated for the Golden Globe for best song, not an Oscar. The Oscars at least dodged that bullet, thankfully.

No. It was written by Aline Brosh McKenna and Will Gluck. They are both human.

How do you know they are human? Have you met them or did you just read that on Wikipedia?
