Anyone who has read the book.....weren't they having an affair?? Which ended on his birthday ??
In the film it seems as if they were contemplating it and it ended at the birthday...which is not right
Did anyone else feel this inaccuracy?? Also didn't Ashia seem more bossy and demanding in the film than she was in the book??

In the book Connie's chapter was my favourite- but so far the worst in the film.
i dont remember walking home with the boy either.
Also, i might be wrong....but didnt Hector and Aisha decide to divorce? I remember they were happy about it but Hector changed his mind, much to her chargrin.....was that the end of Aisha or Hectors story?
Ali did walk Connie home in the book. They also agreed to go on a date the following Friday. They also didn't actually end up having proper intercourse. He couldn't get inside her because it was hurting too much so they stopped. I wouldn't say it was an altogether awful experience for her - they spent the rest of the night cuddled up on the couch holding hands before he walked her home.
