Worst ending to the Sophie Lowe story arc

She never makes up for the lie. She never goes to hector and confesses. The worst was when she tries to make up for her lies by offering some measly tickets to a festival. And Richie like a freaking lapdog just accepts it. In that way, he is no different from Sandi as Connie mentally abuses Richie towards the end of their story arc. We are only led to believe Aisha had a good enough sense that Sophie Lowe must have said something to trigger Richie. I sure hope Aisha didn't fire her just for the affair alone . I would like to think she suspectd Sophie Lowe's Connie of lying on some level.

Judging by how Richie's mom greets Connie at the end, it is clear not even at that point, she confesses to her lie to the others and is depending on Richie to keep that lie to himself.

I assumed they eventually knew Connie lied. Aisha clearly knows she had an affair so Richie isn't clearly making up the fact that Hector and Connie had sex.

I had no doubt that Aisha understood immediately exactly what had happened. If she hadn't just had the year she'd had, she might have shared this with Richie's mother and Connie's aunt, but the last thing Aisha or Hector needed was any more drama! So she left it to them to sort out, or not. Looked like they chose not.

"Who is Brian Keith?" "NOW you're just trying to piss me off!"

I don't think it had to have a better resolved ending. However, I did think it was strange to have Richie, a previously peripheral character, carry the POV load for the final episode. It was quite a good little short film in its own right, but not central enough to the story we had been following previously.
