I just go to the part where the kid gets slapped. The guy that slapped the kids was extreme. But I find it strange that before it got to this point no one said anything to the parents, Especially when that child broke a expensive toy. If I was Hugo's mother I would have been way past embarrassed if my child broke something. I can see being lenient in raising your kid, But even when their that young you can teach them to respect other people. I would have left the party early so on one would have had a chance to snap at my child or me for raising a terror.

Sure, that's what they should do. But that's kind of the point: they (the mother especially) have not developed the proper sense of how to socialize their kid.
