Yes, I think she does. At the end of the episode "Aisha" she's supposed to have come to terms with the idea, however I think when they have the big confrontation she puts two and two together and realises that the girl that Hector referred to as Angela was actually Connie. Which is why they show her temporarily leaving Hector.

In the book, even though we never actually get Aisha's perspective on this, it is apparent that Aisha doesn't suspect that there is some truth to Hector and Connie's relationship. By the end of the book she is still on good terms with Connie and there is no evidence that Hector and Aisha will separate.

Sorry just to digress but wow Aisha girl, that Dr Ramirez was pretty nice, who needs cotton when you can have silk. Sorry not glamoursing affairs much as it seems, but clearly their marriage is in a bit of a down patch and needs an overhaul. Either way Aisha scored big time there and she looked stunning to boot. This was another ep I really enjoyed mainly for Aisha (the very excellent Sophie) and her thoughts of what she might have done if her life had taken a different turn.

Oh I know and of course she would. I was only about 10 mins into the ep when I posted and wondered if she would be tempted. Am really enjoying this series, now have the book and will read it probably over Xmas. Picked it up when it hit our stores here in the UK originally but put it down, silly me!

Thank you Fairpenguin. Just watched the last ep and for the life of me could not understand how Richie was still talking to Connie. She is a toxic, dangerous girl. Fortunately the truth came out as it should have done about the Hector thing.

Yes, she realised it was Connie and Hector

She puts 2 + 2 together:

1. Aisha realised it was with a white teenage girl from her discussions with Hector at the resort, and she realised he lied about the name and age.
2. Richie tells that Hector raped Connie, but Connie says it wasn't true. The only conclusion is that Connie had some sort of sex with Hector that was consensual, or none at all... but why would Richie believe such a thing if nothing at all had happened? Connie and Richie were close, Aisha knew this, because of working with Richie's mother. Presumably, Connie has talked about Hector and her with Richie at some stage.
3. Asking for the keys back from her house means that she can no longer enter her home, and firing her means that she can no longer come to the Vet surgery. She wouldn't have done this if she wasn't furious at Connie, which means that she knows it was Connie having the affair.

reply

I think she only really realizes it because Connie says "I'm sorry" instead of "wow, WTF was that about? So weird...".
