Does anyone else think the format was a bad idea?

I'm talking about showing each episode from a different character's POV. The slap incident and the debates it caused between the characters and the viewers was something intriguing on its own. Adding all those other conflicts seemed unnecessary. Well, except the ones that tied to the incident (e.g. HARRY's bursts of anger to different people, which showed his violent nature). One could argue that ROSIE's episode should've been the last one since it had the verdict. Of course that, if that had happened, there should've been an epilogue.

Don't get me wrong. It's still one of the best TV shows I've ever seen but, because of that flaw, it won't be very high on my list.
