I really don't get the horrible reviews...

I'm not trolling, or trying to provoke an argument here but I don't understand how Rotten Tomatoes can only rate this at 17%. I thought it was a great film, and possibly one of the sharpest character-driven dramas since Falling Down with Michael Douglas. Not only do I disagree that Samuel Jackson is a bad actor, he really showed his versatility as an actor in this movie. Yeah, sure, it's not oscar worthy, but it thoroughly engrossing and entertaining from the beginning to the end.

Samuel L. Jackson in this film was outstanding. As for Rotten Tomatoes site people there gave the movie a 2.7 out of 5 and I guess the real critics gave it worse ? Honestly I would put my taste in movies up against any critics ratings on Rotten Tomatoes or elsewhere. I honestly wonder how many people have actually subjected themselves to really, REALLY, bad movies ? Sorry but no way was this movie a 13% score which is what it is at Rotten Tomatoes currently. A score like that is reserved for movies that you have to shut off and can't watch any longer or when you have to leave the theatre to keep your eyes from bleeding. A score like that is reserved for when you are watching a comedy and not once do you laugh through it. Clearly Rotten Tomatoes has professional reviewers on there that didn't even care to recognize just how good Samuel L. Jackson's performance was and that alone kept you entertained throughout the movie. This was no made for tv movie that was an utter abomination. Seriously people get a clue and Rotten Tomatoes well you are just rotten at getting professional reviewers. I know more than they do.
