Not sure about the laws in Oregon but in most places it would be illegal to require new employees to have a religious faith as a condition of employment. Besides if the owner wanted a job they should have written it into the contract or better yet, run the mine themselves.

until they seceed because trump won the oval office, oregon is subject to both state and federal laws specifically prohibiting such discrimination.

unless, of course, it is part of a cinematic/television *fictional* creation.

there is no such thing as a "reality show".
