How could Dave leave?

I thought he was a partner?! How the hell could he just leave everything behind like this after that investement he had to do?

Dave left and went to colorado, along with todd.
My understanding is that Dave owns a lot of the equipment. leased or outright owns.

Dave is also the owner or part owner of Mt. Hood Rock Products in OR.
