A movie set in the jungle? Filmed in New Mexico? Doesn't sound apt to me. Maybe regular Mexico, but New Mexico is all desert.

Only part of the story takes place in the jungle. They filmed that part already in Thailand and Cambodia. Otherwise I think it takes place in Nevada or New Mexico and New York.
GoldtheMovie tweeted this week that they finished filming in New Mexico and are now shooting in Reno.
