Some real Nevada Gold Mining Properties were thrown in to add a little realism

As anyone in the mining business in Nevada would easily notice, several actual gold mines and prospects were referred to:

1. Jerritt Canyon - A Freeport-McMoran gold mine north of Elko, NV active in the 70's and 80's
2. A sign labeled "Maggie's Creek" which references Newmont's Maggie Creek Mine, a 65M ton+ Ore deposit just north of Carlin, NV
3. A copper mine in Indonesia operated for many years by Freeport-McMoran
4. Relief Canyon, another Newmont-developed Ore Deposit in Nevada

Nevada is fertile exploration territory for modern-day gold miners with many companies similar to Washoe Mining popping up and
down over the years. These companies range from legitimate organizations staffed by true experts to outright scams.

Obama did a great disservice to the US Mining industry when he unilaterally removed Millions of acres of prime exploration areas
In Nevada and Utah from mineral entry 2 Weeks before he left office. That action, which only made the news cycle for a day
or Two amid all of his last minute skulduggery, no doubt cost hundreds and possibly thousands of good, high paying jobs.
