Watched preview: Pleasantly surprised with a decent movie!

Watched a preview of 'Gold'.

Did have lower expectations considering the online views. But I was pleasantly surprised to find a pretty decent movie with good acting from all the characters although Mathew does go a bit OTT at times (you somehow cannot forget that its him playing the role of a ..........rather being the character). The story is good,the script keeps your interest throughout and is compelling at times,the locales are very good and was never bored.The story has a good pay off at the end of the story as it goes beyond finding the gold,etc.

Mathew's acting is far superior to Gosling in La La Land and surprised he didn't get a nomination.He puts himself out there and did put on some weight,etc

It's a movie that should have a decent run and also be popular in the DVD circuit.
Still remember the movie and many scenes even a couple of days after viewing it which suggests that it isn't a 'Live By Night'!
