Am I the only person who didn't like this movie?

It was like pulling teeth to watch this. It was just unpleasant from beginning to end. It's like the entire movie is predicated on being infatuated with the sound of Scarlett Johansson's voice, which just doesn't do it for me. She whispers, she cajoles, she seduces, she lilts, she pleads, her voice cracks, she purrs, she guffaws. Who cares? And, who believes she's an OS? All the while, acting exactly like the kind of manipulating person nobody likes in real life -- who deserves to get kicked to the curb.

Anyone who likes this deserves what they get on superficial dating websites. At times like this, I wish I could cuss on IMBD. You'll have to imagine what I'm wishing I could say. My teeth almost fell out from all the fake saccharine.

No. You're not alone. The only good thing came out of this *beep* was Joaquin Phoenix, other than that it was the interminable borefest of a film that I fell asleep halfway through it.

This film was an intelligent meditation on 21st century lonlieness and isolation. It respected its audience from a world building standpoint, was visually stunning and consistent and presented everything in a unique way that still played on familiarities people have with film in general.

But go ahead and insult people who liked it, that's cool.
