Idea from The Big Bang Theory?

Not sure if this has been discussed here, but I'm watching The Big Bang Theory season 5 episode 14 The Beta Test Initiation and the way Raj falls in love with SIRI immediately reminded me of this movie. The episode aired January 2012 and the movie didn't come out until January 2014.
Comments anyone?

It might have been an influence, but not necessarily.

The idea of falling in love with a robot or computer has been around a long time in the SF world.

I think this is interesting since Theodore's character seemed to be based on Leonard.

Filming for Her began in mid-2012; too soon after the Big Bang Theory episode for there to be any connection.
