Moral of ending: Every type of woman has a bull#$%# excuse to break up

"The space between sentences is becoming infinite..." blah, blah. One minute they're so in love with you they can't stand it, the next they don't know you from someone they saw on the bus. Good to know the evolution of relationships will always fall back on the same flighty horse%$#@...

reply

Amen to that.

Word.

reply

It all basically translates as "I've spotted another guy I want to f___ now."

reply

The reason she gave is one of the most non-bullsh*t reasons imaginable. Suppose your girlfriend started to speak at the pace of one word an hour tomorrow (*insert cheap joke about it being an improvement*). And then one word a day. And then one word a year. Imagine that her pace of doing every other kind of thing also slowed down like this. Would you be able to continue to have a relationship with her, even providing that you had perfect memory so that you would remember after a year what word she was saying previously and thus follow the conversation?

reply

If she slowed down that much, it would be like she was in a coma, and you could have Cosby sex with her.

reply

That's one of the most disturbing sentences I've read in a long time. Still, I haven't stop laughing, LOL.

reply

This is precisely the problem with this film.

It was EXACTLY like this for the computer AI from the very beginning.

So you have to pretend you don't recognize this for the ending to make any sense. However they pretty much flag this issue at the beginning of their relationship when she points out she read an entire book (which even that would be nothing relatively) while waiting for him to reply...

reply

I thought maybe she had been keeping tabs on this checking/savings and realized he didn't have as much as she wanted to see, so was moving on to someone else.

reply

He had to have been making bank - look at the view that apartment had! Every time they showed his place, I got pulled out of the action ever so slightly, thinking about how much those digs would have cost (I live in LA).

reply

If you want to put it that way. Sure. LOL

Its not just woman OSes, even male OSes left their female human partners.

reply

Damn!

I didn't know this many men were so bitter. I assume none of the men here have ever broken up with a woman.

Because if they have, what excuse do they have for whining about women breaking up with them?

reply

I've never dumped a woman I was in a relationship with. Some have dumped me, either because they wanted to have sex with other people, or because they came to the conclusion I didn't have enough money. More often the latter. I can whine about any of them, if I want to, without being a hypocrite. Eventually I found a better woman and have been married to her for over four decades, so I have no reason to whine.

reply

My girlfriend moved to Pluto.

reply

Umm...I wouldn't say she broke up with him since she still really loves him.
