Anytime promos for the following week's episode aren't aired is always a bad sign. A promo for SVU was shown instead for next week's episode. Either the show is going on a hiatus or it's moving to a new night. Neither is good.
I still need to watch the latest episode(I did record it), but it would be ashame if NBC just dropped this series so quickly. I still say 3 episodes is too soon. I think they know the show is up against two established shows, so they should at least try it out on another night before just automatically pulling it.
I also think its a bad sign when they show previews of another show, instead of the next episode. I don't know what the ratings were tonight, but I hope they don't just get rid of the show so soon.
My thoughts exactly. After everything the show has been through (with it having to face the Television Parental Council campaign and all the pre-judgmental viewers), I feel like the show deserves a better treatment. But oh well, we'll find out the ratings in the morning.
Well its been cancelled now, but they could've found another 10pmest/9pmctl timeslot within the week. At least just see how well it would do on another night. The show wasn't horrible, and there were viewers who liked the show so we can't just assume it would flop in every 10pmest timeslot. But putting it up agianst two established shows did hurt as well, as some people's fears that it was a racy show. But since NBC didn't feel it was even worth giving it a try...too bad for the series. I would appreciate it if there is a way viewers who did like the show could see the rest of the taped episodes.
I'm sure they will be available online. But it's too bad the show was cancelled. I'm really surprised it was cancelled so soon with a well known actor like Eddie Cibrian on it. And I really like Amber Heard. I think she has a great career ahead of her.
Oh well, I 'm used to this B.S. of cancelling shows I like after a few episodes anyway. It happens way too much anymore. Even shows with amazing ratings are getting cancelled anymore.
