For NBC,giving a show another chance...

...means just that!

They gave it another chance,a rating miracle didn't
happen so that's it!

This was really The Playboy Club:The mini series
...except it didn't end with a conclusion!

Glad you got what you wanted. But you know what giving a show another chance is all about, and thats atleast trying it out on another night. There have been several shows that grew to be hits because they were given life on another night. But again, TV just isn't like that anymore....especially when they have leads that aren't mainstream enough for the public. If this show had the same ratings, but had a familar actor/actress in the lead the network would've tried to save the show...especially longer than 3 measley episodes.

Not really.I wished the show had lasted longer because i'm
a fan of Amber Heard in a bunny suit.

I was just mocking NBC'S way of giving the show another chance.

reply

madametra, I agree with you completely, they did not give it a chance at all. As you pointed out, at the very least they could have tried it on a different night. But this is NBC we are talking about, if it isn't an immediate hit just give it the axe. They did the same thing in 2009 to a series named "Kings".

reply

NBC have done the same with countless other shows where they have said we will give it a full chance and then axe the show immediately. They did this with Bionic Woman in 2007 as well. Never trust what NBC says.

reply

Yeah, how many people will continue to trust what NBC says now?I'm still disappointed that they canceled Journeyman. Now *that* was an excellent show that deserved a much better outcome. It doesn't even have a DVD/Blu-ray release._____~ I close my eyes lost in a memoryJust like a candle in the wind ~
