Would it have done better on HBO/Showtime?

Well for one, I am upset of it being cancelled because I was really starting to get interested in the show. When I heard it was cancelled, I thought it might've been because of the glut of all the other premier shows on NBC and CBS and all that stuff. Would this have done better on HBO or Showtime? Seems like a fitting show and it allows them to do a lot more and show a lot more. Of course, I'm not saying it would've done better if they showed more nudity, I'm just saying that if they were on a movie channel, it wouldn't give them any limits. Just sayin'

Simple answer to your question: yes.

Both channels would have guaranteed stronger writing, "edgier" plots, realistic nudity without being a porno. Overall, I think HBO and Showtime would do a better time with a period drama than network TV. NBC and CBS make their respective 60s shows seem so soap-ish.
