Just watched 6.1. Does the season get better?

Just got from the library. I found everything about Quinn boring and everything about Carrie irritating. I was distracted in the scenes with Saul and The Devil, cuz they seemed to either stand or sit (on the couch) way too close together. You know it’s bad when a viewer loses focus due to being distracted with how the director blocked the actors. Yes, I know they want both in the shot, but this is something I never notice/think about, but that’s all I could do when they both chose to sit on the couch, and so close they touched (leaving lots of empty couch).

So...keep going or cut my losses?

Loved all the seasons except for 3, which I barely watched and then gave up except for season finale.

You mean the season where Rupert Friend gave the performance of his life?

No, stop watching, it won't get better for someone who can't appreciate it.

reply

Yep, don’t “appreciate” watching an angry, reckless person (who looks like he hasn’t showered in a month) during their downward spiral. Add in drool and puke, and can’t wait for more.

reply

Oh well, I am sure you would have been entirely functional and upbeat under those kind of circumstances.

reply

Yes, it gets better. Some of the most intensive moments on the show await you. Put down the iPad, while watching, and immerse yourself in it.

It was the first season I didn't like. The show has an obvious change in its core. There are some things to like but it is not worth it IMO. The season before had the perfect send-off for Quin/Carrie. This season pretty much fucks everything up. I quit this show after this. I always gave it an A+ until this C- season. From what I've heard, I got off the ship just in time.
